Fremtidens lægemidler? En høring om homøopati
International Høring på Christiansborg 6. maj 2003
Formål med høringen:
At øge udbredelsen i anvendelsen af homøopati til mennesker og dyr i Danmark, herunder:
At imødekomme brugernes stigende behov for homøopatiske behandlingsmuligheder
At vise at vi er bagud med homøopati i Danmark.
At skaffe midler til dansk forskning i homøopatiens virkning.
At informere beslutningstagerne, så de har et sundt grundlag at beslutte på.

DEVELOPING RESEARCH STRATEGIES
16th May 2003, the Novotel Hotel, Southampton
A joint conference with the Southampton CAM Research Unit and the Research Council for Complementary Medicine. This Conference is aimed at individuals and research groups who are interested in the development of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) research.
We will be inviting all the higher educational institutions that have been successful applicants in the recently announced Department of Health Research Capacity Building Exercise. Along with formal presentations we would like to invite all presentations in the afternoon from those with completed research projects or researchers who simply wish to present a proposal for discussion.
We plan to provide adequate time for discussion of each of these submitted presentations, would like to ask for abstracts to be submitted in three main areas:
- Social Science and Psychology
- Clinic Trials and Research Methodology
- Basic mechanisms of action
This Conference is being run with the agreement and support of the Department of Health. Closing dates for abstracts: 16th March, 2003.
The numbers that attend the Conference will be limited to 50 in order to facilitate discussion.
The cost of the Conference will be £45.00 including lunch.
